LINESHIFT SPORTS / LEGAL
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains how LineShift Sports handles personal information in connection with lineshiftsports.com and its application previews. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@lineshiftsports.com. Accounts and payments are disabled by default; the account and billing practices below apply only when those features are enabled.
We use information to provide requested accounts and research access, verify email addresses, recover accounts, manage memberships when enabled, respond to support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service and meet legal obligations. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on performance of our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, or consent where required.
Enabled account features use necessary session and security cookies to keep you signed in and protect account requests. Blocking them may prevent sign-in. The current application does not install advertising trackers or third-party audience-analytics trackers. Page filters and research checklist selections generally remain in page memory and may reset when you leave. This is not a promise that hosting providers keep no technical logs.
We use service providers as needed for hosting, storage, security, email and payment processing. They receive information necessary for those functions; Stripe’s own privacy terms also apply to its payment services. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations.
Supported player photos and team logos are generally delivered through a bounded server-side image cache, so the source receives a request from our server. Some images may load directly from a source host, which then receives normal request information such as your IP address; the page referrer is suppressed where configured. External links take you to services governed by their own policies. Depending on the providers used, information may be processed outside your state or country.
We retain information as needed to operate accounts, provide memberships, handle support, prevent abuse and satisfy applicable accounting, legal and dispute requirements. The appropriate period depends on the information, account status and legal need. Necessary records or backup copies may remain after an account is closed; deletion is not necessarily immediate. We use measures such as password hashing and access controls, but no internet service or storage system is completely secure.
Email contact@lineshiftsports.com to request access, correction, a copy or deletion of your personal information, or to ask about other rights that apply where you live. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information that we are legally entitled or required to keep. We handle requests subject to applicable law; no automatic account-deletion or export tool is currently offered. Do not send identity documents unless we specifically request a suitable verification method.
Canceling a subscription and requesting account deletion are separate actions. If billing is enabled, cancel renewal through your account’s subscription-management route; contact support if you cannot access it. A privacy request alone should not be relied on as confirmation of cancellation.
LineShift is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. We may update this policy as the service changes and will post the revised date here and provide additional notice where legally required.
